About
Professional Background
Learn about Dr. Yinoussa Adagolodjo's academic background, research interests, and contributions to robotics and healthcare technology.
I am an Assistant Professor (Maître de Conférences) in Computer Science at the University of Lille, and a permanent member of the DEFROST team at Inria / CRIStAL UMR 9189.
My research sits at the intersection of medical robotics, real-time finite element simulation, and augmented reality for healthcare. I develop constraint-based control methods for soft and continuum robots, with clinical applications ranging from cochlear implant surgery to minimally invasive endoscopy and prostate biopsy.
Before joining Lille, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Inria DEFROST (2019–2022) and a PhD in Robotics & Computer Science at the University of Strasbourg / ICube Laboratory (2015–2018), under the supervision of Dr. Hadrien Courtecuisse and Prof. Michel de Mathelin.
